Wetlands. Duh.

Most likely the world is blaming the industrial revolution and materialism ENTIRELY for human caused global warming and the reality is a significant portion of it is due to us eradicating 85 percent of our wetlands globally during the same period that we industrialized.

And most likely I will die on the street soon and the world will continue to hurtle towards its doom unnecessarily because sexism is alive and well, among other things.

Most likely, veganism is about people being influenced by Christian ideology that "we need to be SAVED" and also "saving" people will involve SACRIFICE and it's basically a pseudoreligious movement actively trying to recruit people and the folks who left this unofficial cult are creating their own pseudoreligious movement to try to recruit people away from it instead of actually deprogramming themselves.

I write a lot about food and nutrition and feeding people better and solving supply chain issues for food and etc. Veganism is a one-dimensional "solution" to a multi-faceted, complex and nuanced problem. It's a case of "Someone with a hammer seeing every problem as a nail." and the people who fight against it are actively reinforcing the problem by giving more fuel to an idea that isn't even important.

People should eat how they PREFER for whatever damn reason they so choose and butt OUT of other people's dietary choices. (Except cannibalism. That's a NO from me.)

People are freaking out left, right and center about what other people eat and how much other people consume materially and arguing vociferously about "MORE TREES CAN SAVE US" and "NO, IT WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH." and meanwhile our obliterated wetlands get ignored as a factor in the equation while Christian guilt has the world wailing and gnashing teeth about anything anyone might enjoy for any reason instead of people crunching the numbers and coming up with effective policies for restoring our lost wetlands.
It's the economy wetlands, stupid.

I wish veganism as a political movement would go die in a fire. You eat how you want but don't try to tell me what I eat is "unethical" because you are so terrified we can't save the planet.

I'm an environmental studies major. I'm sure it's do-able and equally sure no one will bother while everyone runs around screaming and flailing their arms like Kermit the Frog about irrelevant issues.

I also wish anti-veganism would go die in a fire. You FOOLS are only adding fuel to the problem.

The real issue with veganism is NOT what vegans choose to put in their mouths. It's that they feel entitled to tell OTHER PEOPLE how they "should" eat and YOU fools are doing THE SAME STUPID SHIT, which is not a means to fix the problem.
